Hello all!
It is 9:29 PM in Birmingham, England at the moment, and we are packing up and getting ready to head to the airport in 8 hours...
We have had the greatest time in England these past two weeks, and it has been amazing to see God moving through our mission and the hearts of those we've reached...and it's amazing to see the work He's already done here (and will continue to do). God has been so good to us...He's provided sunny weather whenever we've needed to be walking around outside, transportation, great new friendships, awesome places to stay, and lots of tea!!!! :)
We want to thank you for all your thoughts and prayers! Keep them coming, we still have a long plane ride home! Also, we will be posting a few more pictures when we return, so don't forget to take a look!
And so, for the last time, so long from Birmingham, England. We'll see you soon!

Hello all!
Sorry we haven't been keeping up on the blogs...internet service hasn't been available to us as much as we thought it would be...
Here's an update on the last couple of days:
The group traveled to Swansea, Wales for a few days with missionaries Jim and Sandi Bunch. The generous congregation of Spring Terrace Church opened their church to us as a "home" for a few nights. It was at the church that we performed our play.
The team also walked to a couple of elementary schools close by to perform a puppet skit with the theme of acceptance. There are some pictures from those experiences. The children loved the puppets and received the message well...overall going into the schools was a great experience.
At the present time we are back in Birmingham staying in a house that a generous couple has allowed us to infiltrate! We are performing the play Friday and Saturday night at area churches, and tonight we are performing a small, but powerful drama for international students at the International Friendship House that Jim and Sandi created.
The team is doing well...a little sleep-deprived, but those who have had colds are healing. We have had a most excellent time building friendships with one another and creating new friendships with the people of Solihull, Swansea, and now greater Birmingham.
Items for prayer:
good health
safety in our travels
message to be received with open hearts
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers! We'll be home soon!

Sunday Afternoon downtime...
Hello again from Solihull, England! Our mission trip is well underway and we have been so busy (drinking tea) we haven't been able to update our blog!
Let us tell you a bit of what we have been up to:
Yesterday our team set up and rehearsed all day at Dickens Heath School, home of Dickens Heath Village Church, pastored by missionaries Aaron and Diane Lincoln. We started at around 10 AM with prayer (and tea, of course) and then off we went to rehearse, rehearse, rehearse. There were a lot of little items to attend to-the stage is smaller so we had to change some blocking and prop positioning, as well as setting up the music and technical aspects of the play.
This morning Scott Wallace preached to the church of Dickens Heath while the drama team interspersed 3 sketches throughout the sermon. Afterword we enjoyed meeting the congregation of the Dickens Heath church and making new friends (as well as drinking lots of tea).
At the moment we have about an hour to rest before we gather together again at Dickens Heath to run lines and blocking for the play, which we perform tonight at 7 for the church and all who come.
So far we have had a great trip with lots of meaningful experiences, new friendships, and some amazing tea!
We are excited for the next leg of our journey which begins tomorrow when missionaries Jim and Sandy Bunch come from Birmingham to take us to Wales.
Some prayer requests:
Safe travels
Good health (still...the prayers so far are appreciated)
The people of Wales to be open to God's message and have open hearts to receive it
Rest and energy
No tea overdoses :-)
Well, we'll upload some pictures so you can see what we see...until next we have internet, so long (or ta ta as the British say) from Solihull!
